ABOUT
"Chub Style" is a space designed for men who value the quality of grooming. It's a combination of a barber shop and a "Chub" store, where clients can not only receive high-quality haircut and shaving services but also purchase their favorite hair and beard care products.
LOCATION
The premises are located in a historical building in the city center and have already undergone basic renovations.
DESIGN
The client expressed a desire to create a space that embodies the concept of "old meets new" - combining the classic barber shop feel with modern elements. Additionally, they want to minimize the renovation timeline and reduce costs by avoiding demolition work.
Since it's a historic building, we preserved the central load-bearing columns, which added a historic charm and character to the space.
To the left of the entrance, we positioned the reception area and the "Chub" cosmetics sales zone. Stylish shelves displaying cosmetics seamlessly transitioned into the hair washing area. Concealed within low cabinets behind them were the boiler and other utilities to maintain a clean and aesthetic appearance of the premises.
In the center of the premises near the columns, workstations for hairdressers and stylists were placed. This arrangement allows for observing the work process through large windows from the street, creating a sense of openness and transparency.
Opposite the entrance, behind the workstations, a lounge area was arranged for waiting, featuring a large vintage sofa where clients could comfortably wait for their turn. To the right of the entrance, there was a foosball table and a small waiting area with chairs and a table where visitors could relax and socialize with each other.
This layout maximizes the use of space and creates a cozy and stylish atmosphere in line with "Chub Style," where every client can enjoy high-quality services and purchase hair and beard care products from renowned brands.
